Get a 5% Rebate on Property Tax Before September 30
The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has introduced a 5% rebate on property tax payments for those who settle their dues by September 30. This incentive also applies to service charges on government properties. Property owners can access the assessment list on the NDMC’s official website, where they can log in using their credentials to view property details.
The NDMC, which manages municipal services in several central Delhi areas, encourages taxpayers to plan their payments in advance to avoid the last-minute rush and benefit from the rebate. This initiative is part of NDMC’s efforts to streamline tax collection and provide financial relief to property owners.
The NDMC plays a significant role in the administration of New Delhi, covering an area known as Lutyens’ Delhi. Governed by a council headed by a chairperson, the NDMC is one of three local bodies in the National Capital Territory of Delhi. It has been actively involved in various projects under the Smart Cities Mission and has been recognized for its cleanliness and innovation in digital payments.
