MCD Property Tax Offices Open on Saturdays Until March 31
New Delhi: The MCD Property Tax Offices will remain open on Saturdays until March 31, 2025, to provide taxpayers with additional time to complete their property tax payments. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has announced that these offices, located at zonal offices and the headquarters, will operate from 10 AM to 5 PM on Saturdays to facilitate seamless tax filing.
According to an official statement, this initiative aims to ensure that property owners and occupiers have ample opportunity to submit their tax returns before the deadline. To assist taxpayers efficiently, adequate arrangements have been made at the offices to handle queries and provide necessary support.
The civic body has urged all property owners to take advantage of the extended hours at the MCD Property Tax Offices and ensure their payments are completed before March 31 to avoid penalties. Additionally, taxpayers can use the online payment options available on the MCD’s official portal for a hassle-free experience.
