UP-RERA Online Hearings: Final Call to Promoters for Complaints

NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP-RERA) has issued a public notice in newspapers, summoning promoters from various districts to appear in UP-RERA online hearings. These hearings are related to 28 complaints scheduled for the coming month.

The notice provides a final opportunity for promoters who have missed previous hearing dates to appear. The complaints are against multiple developers, including Palm Estate, IMCO Multi, Shine City Infraprojects, Dwarika Residency, Ganpati Builders, Iconic Infraventures, Aangi Homes, Manya Infra Buildwell, G.I.D Housing Infrastructure, Khalsa Real Estate, Omega Infrabuild, and Samridhi Infrastate.

UP-RERA is conducting these hearings through an online platform, in line with the e-court model. Should any promoter fail to appear despite this UP-RERA public notice, the authority will proceed with a unilateral decision as per the RERA Act provisions.

In related news, UP-RERA has announced that the UPREAT-Lucknow bench has resumed operations from May 21, following an Allahabad High Court order.
