UP-RERA Issues Public Notice Summoning Builders for Online Hearings in Noida, Greater Noida

The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP-RERA) has issued a public notice requiring the appearance of Noida and Greater Noida authorities, along with 18 builders, in online hearings. These hearings, set by the Lucknow and Gautam Buddha Nagar benches, are in response to 32 complaints filed by homebuyers.

The complaints directed to the Lucknow bench involve Vasundhara Lotus Infratech, Polars Infradevelopers, Yazdan Constructions, Shinecity Infra Projects, Gayatri Developers, Wealth Matra Infracon, Precious Buildtech, Hydes Infra Projects, and two additional entities. Meanwhile, the Gautam Buddha Nagar bench will address complaints against Satya Homes, Divyanka Homes, New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA), Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (Greater NOIDA), Logix Infra Developers, Ashoka Priyansh Builders, Shamiah International Builders, Syore Infraprojects, VXL Realtors, and one other entity.

UP-RERA has stressed that if the promoters fail to attend the hearings despite the public notice, the benches will proceed to make unilateral decisions. These decisions will be made in favor of the complainants/allottees, ensuring their interests are protected under the provisions of the RERA Act.

This action underscores UP-RERA’s commitment to addressing grievances in the real estate sector, ensuring accountability, and protecting the rights of homebuyers. The public notice serves as a final warning to the involved parties to comply with regulatory requirements and participate in the resolution process.
