LDA four New Housing Schemes: Wellness, IT, Educational, Prabandhnagar

The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is set to commence land acquisition for four new housing schemes: Wellness City, IT City, Educational City, and Prabandhnagar. This strategic move, approved by LDA chairperson and divisional commissioner Roshan Jacob, aims to transform Lucknow into a modern, well-planned city with state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure.

Wellness City and IT City on Sultanpur Road

Land pooling and acquisition efforts are underway for Wellness City and IT City on Sultanpur Road. The compensation rates have been fixed, and negotiations with farmers are in progress. Wellness City will span 1,474 acres and will feature super-specialty hospitals, medical colleges, diagnostic centers, and Vipassana and meditation centers. The project will also incorporate the Aminabad medicine market and will be divided into seven sectors named after the Saptrishis. It will include 2,935 residential plots ranging from 112.50 sqm to 450 sqm, along with group housing and commercial plots. This initiative is part of the Lucknow Development Authority new housing schemes.IT City, covering 2,086 acres between Sultanpur national highway and Kisan Path, will boast a hi-tech technology park, global business park, science and engineering equipment zone, and a super-specialty medical zone. The project will offer 4,025 residential plots of 200 sqm each, an industrial area of 360 acres, and 64 acres dedicated to commercial activities. Additionally, a 15-acre water body will enhance the aesthetic appeal of the development.  This initiative is part of the LDA four new housing schemes.

Educational City on Mohan Road

Educational City will be developed over 785 acres in Pyarepur and Kaliakheda villages at a cost of Rs 1,544 crore. The city will feature a grid pattern similar to Chandigarh/Panchkula, with Educational City spanning 74.25 acres and a central park covering 42 acres. A water body will occupy approximately 45,000 square meters. The plan includes eight sectors with solid waste management, sectoral shopping centers, and designated areas for vendors. A total of 2,532 residential plots ranging from 112.5 sqm to 450 sqm will be developed, along with large group housing plots. This project is a significant part of the LDA four new housing schemes.

Prabandhnagar Scheme on IIM Road

Prabandhnagar Scheme, covering 2,077 acres on IIM Road, will be developed at a cost of Rs 4,500 crore. This scheme will feature residential plots spanning 20 lakh sqm, commercial plots covering about 7 lakh sqm, an industrial area of 14.58 lakh sqm, and mixed land use of 7 lakh sqm. Discussions with farmers are ongoing to address land acquisition issues. This development is another major initiative under the Lucknow Development Authority new housing schemes.These comprehensive development plans by the LDA aim to cater to the diverse needs of Lucknow’s residents, providing modern amenities and infrastructure. The LDA four new housing schemes are set to significantly enhance the city’s urban landscape.
