Haryana CM Leads Lal Dora Property Certificate Distribution to 5,000

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh distributed property certificates to 5,000 individuals in Manesar on Thursday under the Mukhyamantri Shahri Swamitva Yojana. This initiative provides ownership rights to traders who have been renting their properties for over 20 years, now at the collector rate. The move comes just months before the Haryana assembly elections.

During the state-level registry distribution and Urban Lal Dora Property Certificate distribution program in Manesar, CM Singh addressed the longstanding Lal Dora issue. He noted that many people in urban areas lacked formal ownership rights to their properties, resulting in numerous legal disputes and a pervasive fear of property loss. This situation also hindered property owners from selling their properties or securing loans against them.

CM Singh emphasized that the current state government had promised in their 2019 election manifesto to grant ownership rights to these individuals. The distribution of property certificates to 5,000 people marks a significant fulfillment of this promise. Singh highlighted that approximately two lakh citizens across Haryana have benefited from the Lal Dora Property Certificate distribution scheme, gaining ownership of their properties.

The Chief Minister assured the beneficiaries that they are now the rightful owners of their properties, which were previously unrecorded by revenue officials. This initiative not only alleviates public fears but also ensures that no one can remove them from their properties in the future.

By addressing the Lal Dora issue and granting ownership rights through the Lal Dora Property Certificate distribution, the Haryana government has taken a crucial step towards providing security and stability to property owners in urban areas. This move is expected to have a positive impact on the lives of many and could play a significant role in the upcoming assembly elections.
