LDA Takes Action Against Illegal Encroachments in Vasant Kunj Housing Buildings

he vice-chairperson of the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA), Indramani Tripathi, has taken decisive action to address the issue of illegal encroachments in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (PMAY) housing buildings in Vasant Kunj. During a recent inspection, Tripathi discovered that several individuals had occupied corridors and common areas, using them for unauthorized shops and other commercial activities.

Furthermore, he mandated horticultural work to be undertaken in the parks situated across various blocks of the colony, enhancing the overall aesthetics and functionality of these public spaces.

During his inspection, the LDA V-C also visited the Green Corridor Project and instructed that the entire route be cleaned thoroughly. He also directed that site development works be completed by April 15, ensuring that the project progresses smoothly and is completed on time.

“The PMAY and Green Corridor schemes are aimed at providing exemplary services to the citizens. Any lapse in execution will not be tolerated,” stated Tripathi, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the guidelines and regulations set forth by the LDA. His actions underscore the LDA’s commitment to maintaining the integrity of its housing schemes and public spaces, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all residents.
