DDA Single Window Camps: 83 Conveyance Deeds Granted

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched a new initiative to grant ownership rights to residents of unauthorised colonies through the PM-UDAY scheme. As part of this, DDA Single Window Camps are being held every weekend from November 30 to December 29 at various locations across Delhi, aimed at resolving issues and processing applications quickly.

Successful Start to the DDA Single Window Camps

On the first day of the camp, held on Saturday, saw impressive results:

• 414 new applications and registrations were processed.
• 411 pending applications were cleared of deficiencies.
• 113 applications were approved.
• 83 conveyance deeds and authorisation slips were issued to beneficiaries.

Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) VK Saxena visited the Camp at Shyam Vihar, Najafgarh on Sunday, where he distributed ownership certificates to 40 beneficiaries. He also engaged with attendees and instructed officials to accelerate the processing of 62,000 pending applications, while ensuring the prompt handling of new applications at the DDA Single Window Camps.

Key Highlights of the Camps

The DDA Single Window Camps are designed to streamline the resolution of issues related to property ownership in unauthorised colonies. Services available at the camps include:

• Issuance of conveyance deeds and authorisation slips.
• Addressing deficiencies in applications.
• Conducting GIS surveys and enabling new registrations.

The DDA Single Window Camps are being held at multiple locations, including Burari, Najafgarh, Aya Nagar Ext., Karawal Nagar, Budh Vihar Colony, Nangloi, Khirki Extension (Malviya Nagar), and New Ashok Nagar.

Empowering Residents of Unauthorised Colonies

The PM-UDAY scheme, launched in alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, is set to grant legal ownership rights to residents of 1,731 unauthorised colonies in Delhi. The scheme provides legal recognition to properties, ensuring the security of residents’ homes and unlocking opportunities for property improvement and resale.

Lieutenant Governor Saxena emphasized the importance of the DDA Single Window Camps, urging residents to take advantage of these doorstep services. “The DDA Single Window Camps are a vital step in resolving both new and pending cases, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for all beneficiaries,” he said.
