Exclusive YEIDA Residential Plot Scheme: Apply by Nov 30
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has recently launched a residential plot scheme offering 821 plots in Sectors 18 and 24A, located near the developing Noida International Airport. Applications, which opened on October 31, will remain open until November 30, with the draw set for December 27.
This residential plot scheme focuses on smaller plot sizes, meeting the demand from individuals eager to build homes close to the airport. YEIDA’s CEO, Arun Vir Singh, highlighted that plot sizes include 120 sqm, 162 sqm, 200 sqm, and, for the first time, 250 sqm options. Sector 24A has 344 plots on offer, while Sector 18’s Blocks 9A and 9B include 477 plots.
YEIDA’s previous residential plot scheme, launched in July 2023, drew significant interest, with almost 1.9 lakh applicants for just 361 plots—an average of over 500 applications per plot. Similar demand is anticipated this time, driven by ongoing infrastructure projects, such as the Noida International Airport and Film City. The previous scheme provided plot sizes from 120 to 4,000 sqm, priced at Rs 29,500 per sqm.
Interest in plots near the airport has surged since the airport foundation was laid in November 2021, reshaping the area’s appeal. Previously, response to YEIDA schemes was modest due to the distance from Noida and Greater Noida. However, with new developments underway, these plots have become highly sought-after investment options.
