DDA Housing Scheme 2024: New Flats Launch on Rakshabandhan
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is set to make Rakshabandhan 2024 memorable for Delhi-NCR residents by launching three new housing schemes on August 19. This initiative aims to provide 15,000 flats across various locations, catering to a wide range of income groups.
DDA Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme
The first scheme, the DDA Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme, is designed for low-income groups (LIG) and economically weaker sections (EWS). Flats under this scheme are priced starting at Rs 11.5 lakh and will be available in areas such as Ramgarh Colony, Sirsapur, Rohini, Loknayak Puram, and Narela. The allotment will be on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis, making it accessible for many to own a home in the capital[1][3][6].
Middle-Class Housing Scheme
The second scheme targets middle-class families and offers a variety of housing options, including High Income Group (HIG), Medium Income Group (MIG), LIG, and EWS flats. These properties will be located in Jasona, Loknayakpuram, and Narela, with prices starting at Rs 29 lakh. This scheme also follows the ‘first come, first serve’ principle, ensuring fair access to interested buyers[3][5][7].
Premium Housing Scheme
The third scheme introduces a premium segment with flats starting at Rs 1.28 crore. This scheme will utilize an e-auction process, allowing prospective buyers to place bids. The available properties include MIG, HIG, and high-class flats located in Dwarka sectors 14, 16B, and 19B. This scheme provides an opportunity for individuals to own a home in one of Delhi’s upscale areas[4][6][7].
The application process for the affordable and middle-class schemes will commence on August 19, while the e-auction for the premium scheme will follow a separate schedule.
