DDA Extends Deadline for Dwarka Sector 19B to October 31

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has officially declared that it DDA extends deadline for Dwarka Sector 19B, providing over 1,800 buyers the opportunity to complete their final payment. The new deadline for settling the remaining 25% of the total purchase price is now October 31, a shift from the original date of September 28.
This decision to DDA Extends Deadline for Dwarka Sector 19B comes after numerous requests from allottees who needed more time to manage their finances and complete essential finishing work on the flats.In an official circular, the DDA mentioned, “Considering multiple requests from the allottees of flats in towers A to K for more time to finalize their payments, and considering the necessity for a few extra days to finalize finishing work before physical possession can be handed over, the competent authority has decided to extend the payment deadline.” The extension allows buyers to make payments without incurring interest until the new deadline.
However, many buyers have expressed dissatisfaction regarding the incomplete amenities in the development. They are concerned about the status of electricity and water connections, the installation of the main entrance gate, security staffing, and the establishment of recreational areas, all of which are still pending.
In related news, the DDA received a strong response to the recent e-auction of 10 flats and penthouses under the Dwarka Housing Scheme. This auction featured units from Dwarka Sector 19B, with all ten flats selling above the reserve price. The auction successfully featured a penthouse, along with three Super High-Income Group (HIG) flats and six additional HIG flats. Following this success, the DDA conducted another e-auction on Wednesday, offering 17 additional flats—12 HIG and five Medium Income Group (MIG)—all of which were also sold at prices exceeding the base rate.
With the DDA Extends Deadline for Dwarka Sector 19B, buyers now have a better opportunity to finalize their purchases and prepare for the upcoming changes in their new homes.
