Noida Authority to Hire Land Consultant for Land Acquisition
The Noida Authority is set to hire a specialized consultant to streamline its land assembly efforts as part of the city’s rapid infrastructure development. This move aims to tackle both direct land purchases and legal acquisitions under the Land Acquisition Act, according to authority officials.
With Noida’s growth accelerating, there is a pressing need for land to support various developmental projects. The Authority estimates that around 200 hectares of land will need to be assembled, though this figure could change based on future infrastructure needs.
An official from the Authority stated, “As Noida continues to expand, land requirements are soaring. A structured approach to assembling large tracts of land for infrastructure projects is crucial, and this is where a consultant’s expertise becomes vital.”
The land consultant will manage every aspect of land assembly, from identifying suitable parcels to overseeing surveys, legal procedures, and documentation. In cases where landowners are unwilling to sell, the land consultant will also assist in navigating the legal acquisition process.
By hiring an expert land consultant, the Noida Authority aims to address the increasing complexity of land assembly, ensuring that the city’s growth and infrastructure projects progress smoothly.
