Greater Noida Development Authority Allocates Rs 4,859 Crore 2024-25 Budget

Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has earmarked significant funds for various developmental projects in its 2024-25 budget, with a focus on land acquisition, the Noida Airport, and metro rail expansion. The board allocated Rs 1,200 crore for land acquisition, Rs 500 crore for the Noida Airport, and Rs 30 crore for metro rail expansion, demonstrating a commitment to infrastructure growth in the region. Overall, a budget of Rs 4,859 crore was approved during the 134th Board Meeting held in Greater Noida.

Chaired by GNIDA Chairman and UP’s Industrial and Infrastructural Development Commissioner Manoj Kumar Singh, the meeting also included the presence of CEO N G Ravi Kumar, among others. The budget breakdown includes Rs 1,272 crore for development and construction works, Rs 1,500 crore for loan repayment, and an expected revenue of Rs 4,810 crore from land allotment, including contributions from builders, industries, and commercial establishments.

Furthermore, the budget allocates Rs 520 crore for rural development and ‘smart villages’, emphasizing the authority’s commitment to holistic growth. Additionally, Rs 957 crore has been set aside for urban and health services, and Rs 280 crore for electric sub-stations, reflecting a comprehensive approach to infrastructure development.

The budget’s focus on key sectors such as land acquisition, infrastructure, and rural development highlights GNIDA’s efforts to enhance the region’s overall quality of life. This strategic allocation of funds is expected to pave the way for significant progress and development in Greater Noida.
