The Omaxe State: Iconic Commercial-Sports Complex in Dwarka
Omaxe Group is set to make a significant investment of over ₹2,500 crore to develop an integrated commercial-cum-sports complex named “The Omaxe State” in Sector 19-B, Dwarka, New Delhi. This bold initiative, covering 50.4 acres, is being undertaken in partnership with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) through a public-private partnership (PPP) model. The completion of the project is anticipated by 2027, and it is projected to generate revenue exceeding ₹4,200 crore throughout its lifecycle.
Key Features of The Omaxe State:
- Integrated Facilities: The Omaxe State will be the first facility in India to integrate five elements: sports, retail, hospitality, food, and cultural amenities. It aims to provide a world-class experience to Delhi’s residents by bridging gaps in the city’s infrastructure.
- Sports Complex: The project will include an international cricket-cum-football stadium built to ICC and FIFA standards, with a seating capacity exceeding 30,000. Additionally, there will be an international multi-sports indoor stadium accommodating 2,000 spectators.
- Retail and Dining: With approximately 5 lakh square feet dedicated to food and beverage, the complex will host over 40 fine dining restaurants, night and day clubs, sports bars, drive-throughs, a food court, rooftop restaurants, food kiosks, and food trucks.
- Hospitality and Leisure: The facility will include a 148-room hotel, a 75,000 square feet E-Sports arena, and Delhi’s exclusive invite-only sports and leisure club. It will also offer a large banquet space with multi-level parking and an event arena for social and cultural events.
- Infrastructure and Connectivity: The project is strategically located near major landmarks such as Yashobhoomi, Asia’s largest convention center, IGI Airport, Bharat Vandana Park, and the upcoming Diplomatic Enclave. It is well-connected via the Dwarka Expressway, enhancing its accessibility.
