Great News: PM-UDAY DDA Processing Centres Open Daily
In a significant move to enhance service accessibility, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has announced that all ten DDA processing centres under the Pradhan Mantri-Unauthorised Colonies in Delhi Awas Adhikar Yojana (PM-UDAY) will now operate daily, including weekends, starting this Tuesday. This initiative follows directives from Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, aiming to expedite the processing of applications and ensure timely delivery of ownership rights to residents in PM-UDAY colonies.
The decision to extend operations stems from numerous requests by residents of unauthorised colonies, who have expressed the need for increased access to DDA services. The PM-UDAY scheme seeks to provide legal ownership rights to residents in 1,731 unauthorised colonies across Delhi, thereby enhancing their living conditions and property rights.
By extending the operational hours to all seven days, the DDA anticipates a significant increase in the capacity to process applications. This change is expected to lead to quicker resolutions for pending cases, particularly benefiting those residents who face challenges submitting documents and following up on applications during weekdays.
With these extended hours of DDA Processing Centres, It aims to improve accessibility for PM-UDAY residents, ultimately enhancing the efficiency of the application process and facilitating the issuance of authorisation slips and conveyance deeds.
